GameReviewBros was created by two brothers who’ve been gaming their entire lives — long before patches, season passes, and Early Access were even a thing.
We’re Stevro and Retro , and between us we’ve spent decades playing everything from couch co-op classics to modern online multiplayer and survival crafting games. Gaming has always been more than a hobby for us — it’s how we connect, unwind, and challenge each other.
Over the years, we’ve seen how often game reviews miss what actually matters to players. Too much hype. Too little real playtime. Not enough honesty about performance, co-op, or whether a game is genuinely fun once the novelty wears off. That’s why we built GameReviewBros.
Our approach is simple: we play games properly and review them honestly. We focus on how games actually perform, how their systems hold up over time, and whether co-op and multiplayer experiences truly work in the real world — not just on a feature list.
We don’t sell scores, inflate ratings, or chase access. Every review is written for players trying to decide what to play next with their time and money. If a game delivers, we’ll say it. If it doesn’t, we’ll explain why — clearly and fairly.

Retro is the metagamer of the duo. He dives deep into systems, mechanics, and optimisation, always looking for the most efficient builds, strategies, and synergies. He enjoys breaking games down to understand how they really work beneath the surface.
In reviews, Retro examines balance, progression systems, difficulty scaling, and long-term depth. He pays close attention to how mechanics interact, whether metas emerge naturally, and how well a game holds up once players start pushing its systems. If a game has depth to master, Retro will find it — and if it falls apart under scrutiny, he’ll spot that too.
